So I went to make one of those yearly art summaries I always make (where you put a thumbnail of a drawing from each month to see how your art has evolved over the year), and I didn't even have a drawing for a couple of the months. :\ That's depressing, I was so lazy art-wise this year. Uugh.

Work yesterday was sooooo boring, the store  was open later than usual because it's the last weekend before Xmas, and toooons of us were on but like NOBODY came in. It was SO dead and boring all we did was stand around and talk and play catch with a little bouncy ball because everything that needed to be done was done. :I So half an hour before me and Carmen's shifts ended, our assistant manager asked if anyone wanted to go home early and we volunteered lol, I WAS SO FREAKING BOOOORED. I have another one of these shifts at 3... except it's going to be even worse because it's Sunday and we close at 5 on Sundays but we're open till 9 tonight (I'm a 3-8 shift today)... maybe I'll get lucky and get sent home early or something lol. At least I'm getting paid to be bored. :I I had an awesome time with muziris yesterday!! <3 It was great seeing her again ;A; We're having a sleepover tomorrow night and going to see AVATAR FDJFGHSJDGHSDKGJSH!!! EXCITE!! Also I kind of realized I'm way too clingy and if people randomly stop texting me for a day because their phone died or something I freak out and send them way too many texts because I think something's happened LOL... I hate myself sometimes.

muziris IS IN TOWN UNTIL MID-JANUARY AND I AM SUPER EXCITED. WE ARE CHILDHOOD BFFS AND I HAVEN'T SEEN HER IN ALMOST 2 YEARS (I'M SURE IT'S LONGER THAN THAT >:I) We're hanging out today at the mall until I have to go to work EEEP SHO EXSHITED!!!! (I'll punch her for you David)

Man, life is actually really fantastic right now. :) I know I made the most perfect decision I could have made last week, I feel so refreshed and just FFFFF amazing! Mucho love to everyone <3

Also tomorrow is my last day of school before Christmas holidays. WOOO.

So me and Cameron broke up today. :( It ended on as good of terms as it could have... I basically realized that for the past two or so months I've been loving him as a best friend and not a boyfriend so we talked about it lots for the past week and decided that we should call it quits. I feel really bad because he still loves me as much as he always has, he was seriously like the best boyfriend ever. :( But this is a lot of weight off my shoulder and I know it will benefit us both in the long run. I'll still have him as a friend, after all.

Ffffffft.

SO today I wake up and go downstairs for whatever reason (I can't remember), and as I get to the bottom of the stairs I see one of my newts on the tile... downstairs.
So you know. I kinda stand there for like, a minute, processing this. "Ha ha that looks like a newt that's funny newts live in aquariums my newts are in their aquar-- OH. FUCK."
So I like run over to him and he's all stiff and shriveled up and has fuzz stuck to him ;A; but he was in perfect condition so my cats weren't at him.. he got from our dining room upstairs to our basement downstairs wtf... and here I thought my newt tank was newt proof. Apparently not enough!

This boggles me but is very very sad at the same time! :( My little trooper. What gets me is how he dried up from just being out overnight... newts can generally last daaays without being near water. Wtf?

I am sooo at a loss right now. :(

WWWEEEWPPP, I just got back from work cause Angelica and I got our shots there. So we walked there after lunch, got our shots, then left. :V I got the H1N1 vaccine and seasonal flu vaccine. I feel perfectly fine, people who don't get the vaccines are just worrying over nothing.

So I talked to my parents about AC and shit on Sunday and they said they're going to be taking a lot of time to think about it. My mother is calling celestialwolfen 's mother tonight though, which is a good sign. :)!!

So I talked to my vice principal today who is also my English teacher about my exam dilemma. Exam week starts 2 days before I'd need to fly out for AC, so I was afraid it would conflict with my exam schedule. I have one provincial and one final to take this summer (just found out today that my provincial is the day before I'd have to go! So that's all good) and he said that the finals sechedule won't be up until like a month prior, but if it is during the time I'll be in Pittsburgh I can simply talk to my teacher about it and get my parents to phone and I can take the exam when I get home. :) SO THAT IS ALL CLEARED UP!

My only two issues now are MONEY and my parents. I pretty much swayed my mom this weekend into letting me go, she just told me that I have to come up with an "argument/appeal" as to why I should be able to go and present it to my parents this weekend. I've got some pretty good ideas, BUT ANY HELP WITH THINGS TO TELL MY PARENTS AS TO WHY THEY SHOULD LET ME GO WOULD BE MUCHO APPRECIATED! :D My biggest concern right now is money... I have nooo fucking idea how I'll get enough money in time to get good priced tickets. Do you guys know when is generally the best and cheapest time to buy tickets? I know 12 am on Wednesdays is the cheapest TIME, but what about like, time in comparison to when the actual flight is? I may be able to talk my parents into giving me a loan and me paying them back over time but I'd much rather just have the money and not have to get into debt shit again. :\ Once again, pimping my commissions would be reaaallly appreciated.

But yeah, PRETTY STOKED ON LIFE RIGHT NOW. I'm going to my friend Nicole's house in 20 minutes to film a scene from Macbeth for English class... we're going to do the classic witch scene. BEARDS AND ALL. MWAHA.

Just some updates! On Friday night I completely redid my aquarium, took out eeeverything, bleached everything (then rinsed it veeery thoroughly lol), put in new water, etc etc. Aka it took like 3 freaking hours but upon completion I felt very rewarded!! :D
Unfortunately two days prior, my plecostomus ("sucker-fish" for all you newbies) was spending like, 3 days on the bottom of the tank not able to move and basically hardly alive, and it was so painful to watch him. :C So I did the humane fish euthanasia thing (see http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-the-most-humane-way-to-euthanize-a-fish.htm) well technically I got my dad to do it cause it was really upsetting. :( I've had him for a loooong time. RIP SUCKTON <3

But then on Saturday my daddy dearest took me to the pet store and I got two newts, two phantom tetras and an algae eater! I named the newts Frankford and Artemis, the two tetras Lady Gaga and Atticus Finch and my algae eater William. BD It feels so nice to have newts again! They are an absolute hoot.

I took these photos on my parents' camera (oh yeah, another update, cause my SLR is in for warranty work to fix the jammed button) so that's why they're so shitty. BUT WHO CARES CAUSE THEY'RE ~*SOOOO CUTE*~

Soo other than missing my camera, not a lot has been going on. I'm sort of freaking out because I came to the realization that I need $800 within the next 3 months if I ever want to get my ass over to AC, and if I don't have the money for plane tickets soon I'll have to wait for last minute booking to get a good deal, but that leaves the risk of the flight being full. Sigh. :( I don't work a lot so I don't have a lot of money coming in and commissions aren't doing too great, I've gotten a few but fff. If you guys can pimp me that would be gr8thx D:

Plus I have Christmas gifts to buy which brings my money levels down significantly, speaking of which I got 75% of my Christmas shopping done this weekend, I have everything I need to mail out to Sasha, Allie and Kristen ready. I'll mail Sasha and Mike's ASAP so it actually gets there in time for Christmas (oh god the package is huge... shipping prices are going to do me over.)

My fucking awesome art teacher is starting a painting 'group' every Thursday after school, the first meet is tomorrow after school. He refuses to call it a group cause it sounds nerdy LOL. Honestly, I have the best teacher in the whole world, not even kidding.

I THINK THAT'S ABOUT IT. My arm is burning and itchy. IS THAT NORMAL>????!
